Linux on MacBook Pro

I've tested 4 liveCDs on a MacBook Pro today and they more or less worked. I used PCLinuxOS 2007, Fedora 7 KDE LiveCD, Mepis 6.5 64 bit and Ubuntu 7.05 Polish edition. The winner is PCLinuxOS as it was the only one to properly configure the sound card. Fedora and Mepis worked, but without the sound. Ubuntu didn't managed to start the X.org server (it looked like VESA driver was missing). I noticed also reported by other users locked keyboard in GRUB, although in Mepis the keyboard was active. Overall the Linux support was quite good. I'll write about it more in a couple of days.
