ZWO is launching USB3 based ASI120 cameras

New USB3 based ASI120 cameras will give nearly twice the speed compared to current USB2 models

ZWO just sent first ASI120 cameras based on USB3 to first testers around the world. The new faster USB interface gives almost double the speed of current USB2 cameras (60 FPS versus 35 FPS with USB2).

The primary goal of announced tests is to check how various USB3 controllers cooperate with the camera - do they work stable and do they allow reaching max framerate available for this camera. The prices aren't yet fully given but the USB3 version will cost bit more than the USB2 models. You can track the tests progress on ZWO forums.
